War affects both fighting sides. For instance the Vietnamese people in this image are suffering, they are scared. People around the world have been affected by war whether it is them getting attacked or their country attacking another country. They feel the pain of the deaths of their people. In the war, Vietnamese people heard gunfire, suffrage, and the sounds of war. They had to have gone through a hard time seeing people die and seeing their people kill other people. Nobody wants war but when they have to be involved, there are consequences for the people who have to sit through it. The people back in The US during the war in Vietnam had started protesting the war. The effect it had on the people here was that the numbers of American casualties made them anti-war. The war was unnecessary.
