War is... a product of loyalty and devotion

Patriotism is an emotional connection or attachment to a community which one considers their homeland. It is a sense of dignity and honor attributed to one’s pride of being from their country. War is an effort to improve the stigma of America. Soldiers fight for the safety of America and its people creating the American image of commitment. The ongoing love and devotion for our country is actively displayed through war. Soldiers go into war risking their lives. They put  their entire future on hold to go fight for the improvement and protection of our country. War is different sides fighting for the protection of their beliefs, rights, and citizens and this is essentially patriotism. America is celebrated as the “land of the free, home of the brave,” because of our soldiers constant dedication and desire for protection and safety of our country.

In the collage of pictures above we see how war defines America. War is depicted through a soldiers memorial. The symbolism of the flag behind the remains of a gun and helmet, in the shape of a person, show how he contributed to America’s patriotism by risking his life. It demonstrates how he took part in contributing to the well-being of America.  In the picture of the soldier looking back, he reflects on what will be left behind. He is acknowledging that death is a high possibility in the future. In the background we see a gravesite of the thousands of soldiers who risked their lives and died for the improvement of America. The other soldiers continue on forward, not turning their backs, and preparing themselves for what the future holds. Whether it be dead or alive these soldiers know what they are getting themselves into, but do not let fear interfere their desire for safety. These soldiers demonstrate true heroism and loyalism to America. In the picture with the American flag we see how the soldier is an embodiment of American ideals. The soldier is placed in front of the flag showing how American pride and joy is due to the ongoing service of our soldiers. The conjoined effort from war, allows for national security and national pride. Americans will fight for their loyalty as depicted in the pictures above, devoting all their efforts to make America a protected and glorious place to thrive.
